Have equity of  $94,123.59. Had some CDs mature, they were renewed, one for 1 year and one for 2 years.

  IV.      Reports of Standing Committees

a.       Membership (N. Briskie): 22 new members in April, 21 family renewals and 89 individual renewals. EMS had a Club Day and we had a booth there.  It went well. Had Pacesetters there, race entry forms and a TRI FOLD display with pictures and information about the club. Updating the old tri-fold brochure and almost finished. It will have all the races and the membership application on one side of it. Would like to have the display at bigger races to promote the club like Friehofers, Corporate Challenge and Stockade-athon.

OUTSTANDING REPORTS: Winter Marathon, Delmar Dash, Mother’s Day Race

                 f. Safety Committee (H. Hennessy): Mother’s Day race: concern about traffic control at this race. Cars were let onto the race course and this was a concern. Jim Tierney was assistant RD and this was the first he had heard about this. Apparently there was one volunteer that did not do the job properly. The 27th of May is the State Campus Run, we have been asked to participate in it. Ken Orner will be helping out by putting out past issues of Pacesetter and brochures to promote the club.

g. Pace Setter (D. Wilken/E. Neiles): Pacesetter: Ed Neiles reports via e-mail that the June issue is on schedule, and no doubt will be delivered to the membership before the 1st of June. We have had several training sessions with the production staff and things are working out quite well. Everyone has been quite cooperative, which is helpful. Kindly remember to have your articles to us by the 25th of the month, and if you are placing an advertisement, that "ad" needs to be in our hands by the 1st of the month. EG: July -- Articles to us by May 25th. Ads to us by June 1st. If anyone has any interest in becoming the editor, we would be happy to work with you for as long as it might take.
